There are fans who love how different it can be, while others might be concerned about the way it handles grinding for certain abilities and items or the course the story takes. The words about modder being the real devs become more and more true.Final Fantasy VIII is an installment that some might consider divisive. PS: Just get the 2013 version and mod it, it'll look much much better than this mess and it's even free. I would only use the 3x game speed boost and it would be more than enough for me just to play the game in tripple speed but it might be good to know for people who would like to use more than only 3x speed. I just write this cheating thingy for people who likes to cheat in their games. Yeah it is a single player game sure but what ever, I have purchased the game and I want to do with the game what ever I want to just like in the stone age times where you even could purchase cheating CD's. Only 3x speed are ok to use but everything else will disable your achievements. If you want to earn achievements, then you wont be able to get them as soon as you start cheating. If you want to cheat like you have done on your ps1 then forget about it. Oh and not to forget about cheat system they have put in to the game. Siren has been censored but not the GF Card itself.
Yes you read it correctly, SE has censored the game. Also not to forget the game is even CENSORED. Only better Character graphics and all the rest is even worse. It should have been a DLC not a fully new game. Even some parts in the PS1 version looks better than this blurry mess. Srlsly this is just an horrible fail of the legendary FF8. Srsly I've written a review about the same issue in Star Ocean 3 Remaster where it was the same problem and what does SE do? The same stupid thing again. The worst problem in the PS4 version is that you don't have the option to turn down the volume of music etc. I have tested it around 20 minutes and have refunded it. Everything is so blurry that it hurts my eyes to play the game. Yes the character looks upgraded but all the rest is downgraded graphicaly. It is the worst Remaster I have ever played.
